Tommy Fury Pulls Out of Darren Till Fight
Tommy Fury has withdrawn from his scheduled January bout with Darren Till, citing concerns over potential MMA tactics being used in the ring.

Tommy Fury has withdrawn from his highly anticipated January bout with former UFC star Darren Till, citing concerns over the potential use of MMA tactics in the ring. The announcement comes just weeks before the scheduled crossover event.
Fury (10-0, 4 KOs), who recently secured a victory over KSI in October, was set to face Till in what would have been another high-profile crossover boxing match. The younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury expressed concerns through his management about the specific rule set and potential MMA influences in the proposed bout.
"While we respect Darren Till as a fighter, we need to ensure that any boxing match adheres to traditional boxing rules and regulations," stated Fury's management team. "The proposed modifications to accommodate Till's MMA background raised serious concerns about the integrity of the boxing match."
Till (0-0 Boxing, 18-5-1 MMA), who has been training extensively in boxing since transitioning from the UFC, expressed disappointment but remains hopeful for a future bout under revised terms. The Liverpool native has been vocal about his desire to test himself in professional boxing.
The event promoters are currently seeking a replacement opponent for Till, with several names from both boxing and MMA backgrounds being considered. Updates on the revised fight card are expected in the coming days.
